Township News

The township will be putting all of its cemetery records in a computerized format and
that information will become available online when it is completed.
The township is working with the Then and Now Hisotrical Society in Dorr
to duplicate the written records and when that project is complete
visitors to this website will be able to view and search records online when needed.
The township of Wayland is working
to make our records and information more accessible for our township
and non-township residents alike. We ask for your patience with us
while the trnasormation of records takes place.

~~~~~~~~
Over the next few summers, representatives of Wayland Township will perform
exterior field inspections including, but not limited to, measuring, capturing digital
images as well as interviewing property owners to collect basic information
about their property. This allows the township to gather current characteristics
of properties and electronically store all parcel data using computers.
If you have any questions, please contact
Supervisor Roger VanVolkinburg at 616.299.0482.
